Some window shopping for you

I don’t know about you, but I am absolutely desperate for a good shopping session. The thing is, where I am right now is a truly beautiful yet shop-deprived corner of the world. So I have been browsing around the net to get some good fashion inspiration, and  I ended up window shopping at Valentin0.com

Valentino is one of the most classic Italian designer, and his style has always been very feminine, seductive, and sophisticated at the same time. These are my three favourite dresses from the ready-to wear spring-summer 2011 collection at Valentino.com.

I think they are absolutely stunning… So simple and elegant, to me they represent exactly what the essence of style is.

I have an obsession with black, so there is no doubt, if I had to pick one and just one, it would be  the black satin dress. Wich one would you choose? Tell me!

Beach Philosophy

As I am no poet, I am just unable to describe how much I love being under the sun, in front of the sea, lying on warm sand… So I will just say that to me going to the beach is always an experience of pure happiness and absolute freedom.

As such, I can’t even imagine wearing anything more complicated than a top, a pair of shorts and simple, nice flip flops.

To get the best out of my day on the beach I like to get organized, and make sure I don’t leave at home any of the fundamental items I will need, like sunglasses, camera, sunblock , after tan  perfumed oil (like huile satine’ by Clarins), and obviously my favourite music.

Really, there is nothing more glamorous than a nice pair of shades. Sunglasses can dramatically change the way you look , always adding interest and mystery to a pretty face. This is definitely the perfect accessory, as it can be prestigious and seductive at the same time.

Don’t forget sunglasses can help you conceal your emotions, should you need it… and – last but not least – they are absolutely imperative in hiding the consequences of a late night out! Hence, sunglasses are always, always cool….

coming season the one we like the most is the
